On a cloudy day
On a cloudy day, the sky appears gray and overcast. It\’s a typical day in the fall, with the cool breeze rustling the leaves on the trees and the sounds of birds chirping in the background. But today, it\’s not just the weather that\’s making the day feel like this. It\’s also the feeling of unease that comes with being in a place where there\’s too much uncertainty.
As I walk through the streets, I can\’t help but feel like everything is a little bit off. The air is cold and damp, and the sight of the trees and the sky feels like it\’s been painted on a black background. It\’s like everything is a little bit transparent, and I can see right through to the other side.
I try to push the feeling away, but it\’s hard. I know that this is just a feeling, and that things will eventually get better. But as I sit in my car and watch the clouds move in, I can\’t help but wonder what the future holds. What will happen to the world we know and love? Will we be able to keep pace with the changes that are happening today, or will we fall behind?
As I look out the window, I can see that the clouds are starting to break up. Maybe soon, the sun will come out and make everything feel like it\’s not so gray and overcast. But for now, I\’m left with the feeling that today is just a little bit different, and that it\’s okay to be a little bit unease-ized.
